GORDON WHITE MINISTRIES
![]()
Gordon White has had a remarkable life. Here is a brief summary of his adventures in Christ...
In the small ranch and farming community of Decatur, Texas,
not far from Fort Worth, Gordon Thomas White was born on June 20, 1941.

At the time of his birth his parents (James J. White and Mittie) had already
been blessed with two other children - a daughter named Wanda and a son named
Harlo.
Even as a young child, Gordon was blessed to witness first-hand, the mighty
moving of God's power. Some of his earliest memories are of sitting on a church
pew, watching people shout in the Holy Spirit as his dad preached God's word
from the pulpit.
Gordon's mother passed away when he was only four years old. Mother White died,
tragically, while giving birth to a child who also did not survive. The grief
Gordon's father felt over the loss of his wife and child was deep and painful
but the desire to preach the Gospel was equally compelling upon his life and
that call could not be denied.

Gordon White spent much of his youth in church or traveling on the road to
distant cities, attending services of worship across the country. Gordon and
Harlo's sister, Wanda married young and moved away from the family with her new
husband. This left Father White to raise the two small boys alone. They
continued to travel from city to city with their father as he carried on his
ministry. Sometimes sleeping in their car or in tents. Many times they bunked up
with friends, relatives or anyone who showed them kindness by taking them in for
a few days.
At the age of 15 Gordon and Harlo began their own ministry, apart from their
father's work. They were very musically inclined, possessing a God-given talent
that didn't require any music lessons. Gordon played piano and guitar while
Harlo also played the guitar. They sang and preached their hearts out for
Christ. People loved them and were deeply blessed by their ministry. They went
from church to church, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. As they grew in the
spirit, the crowds also grew. In no time at all they were filling churches and
auditoriums to capacity from coast to coast.

After many years of traveling and overseeing churches together, Gordon and Harlo
White decided to go their separate ways, each venturing out alone on the Gospel
road for Christ. The pathway of Gordon's life eventually led him to St. Louis,
Missouri, where he was pastor of a church for 15 years. For over 10 years now,
Pastor White and his wife, Shirley have been traveling on the evangelistic field
together. Gordon is still the senior pastor of his St. Louis church and he
returns there monthly to minister to his congregation.

Gordon White has traveled to over
40 countries around the world, spreading the Gospel of Jesus Christ. His
ministry is most unique. People do not liken Pastor White's ministry to the more
traditional ministries or clergy. He does not believe that a person has to wait
for death to inherit all of the Kingdom and its rewards. There is no waiting for
your "pie in the sky" - You can have it now! Yes, he does believe in eternity
and spiritual "afterlife". He just doesn't believe what traditional churches and
religious leaders have taught us for centuries. Brother White believes that the
Bible is our spiritual book and we must learn how to read and interpret the
spiritual language of the Bible to fully understand it.
We want to encourage you to order his teaching tapes. They will enlighten you,
bless you, provide answers to your questions and calm your fears as you read the
Bible. You may not agree with everything he says but you will never forget the
power and anointing that comes from his teachings of the Holy Scripture. Pastor
White wants you to dig into those Scriptures as you search for greater knowledge
about the truth of God's Word. There is freedom and peace in knowing the truth,
accepting that truth and walking in the revelation and blessings from
experiencing what the Bible is really saying to God's children.
John 8:32 "And Ye shall know the truth, and the
truth shall make you free."
